My brain knew we would get away. I had been furiously researching the covid related requirements for weeks and felt confident. But part of my body didn’t quite believe it. Travelling anywhere seemed so difficult.
The first part of the trip is me and dad in the campervan, driving over to where my bike is. We’ve made use of the “hammock” feature, so I sleep above the front seats, and he has the main bed. Usually I would have camped, but it’s only for a couple of nights, and means we can stay at aires, which are easier.
Time for a beer now! 🍻
